This trip was fabulous! The accommodations were spacious, beautiful and comfortable! Every meal was delicious and artfully presented! Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The retreat was engaging and our instructor, Pam was wonderful! She allowed us to experiment with so many different mediums and shared so much valuable information! I had a great time, created beautiful art pieces and made new friends. I can't wait for another retreat!

I had such a wonderful time. It was lovely accommodations. The food was great. The experience with like-minded people was such a blessing. I enjoyed learning and having the time to sit outside with Jesus every morning. Beautiful.

My experience with artists rising was very positive.. The Connecticut River Inn is beautifully decorated and yet it still felt relaxing and comfortable. My bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The meals provided were delicious and there was a variety of restaurants within walking distance for meals on my own. The studio space was perfect for the small, personal group instruction we received. I came by myself without knowing anyone but felt very welcomed. I would recommend!

I had a life changing art experience. I feel so much more confident as a painter. I learned so much and enjoyed the accommodations, people and food. I cannot wait until my next art adventure.

We had a wonderful time at the artists retreat! The property is beautiful - the Inn and the landscaping is very warm, welcoming and so creatively decorated! The studio experience was very good with beautiful surroundings and a nice set up for painting. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Teri did a great job of keeping us all organized and she answered all questions we had before the retreat quickly and professionally. The location is convenient to a quaint downtown with many restaurants and shops. We felt safe walking around town and on the trails by the river. Pat's creative talent is on display everywhere you look making this Inn a very unique and inspiring location for an artists retreat or a unique vacation experience. Our instructor, Kim Myers Smith, created a relaxed and fun painting experience for us and I can't wait to paint in oils again at home! Kim is an expert painter and I have admired her work online for years. It was great fun for me to meet her and to learn from her in-person. She taught us her techniques and encouraged us to use them to create in our own style. Overall, this was a wonderful get-a-way - for me - to learn from Kim and for my husband to just relax, read, walk the town and have lots of calming downtime. We highly recommend Pat and Wayne's beautiful Inn and Kim's art retreat experience.
